"Discreet wood works with airy, elegant, pure, indeed almost diaphanous white flower and lemon juice aromas that serve as a lovely intro to the intense, reasonably complex and minerally middle weight flavors that possess excellent energy though I was surprised that the finish came up a bit short given how good the underlying material appears to be. To be sure, this is a very solid wine but not at its usual rarified level." (Jul 2008)

"White peach, pear and dusty stone on the nose. Sweet, lively and fine-grained, with lovely limey, minty lift to the peach and pear flavors. A very fruity style, but fresh stony minerality kicks in on the long finish. In fact, here the minerality partly masks the vintage character." (Oct 2008)

Consistently excellent tasting notes, drinking very well right now; most recently tasted in Aug 2011
