"Exactly what a good aged Bdx should taste like, with Margaux perfume ( though a friend thought there was some acetone on the nose) and a little fruit left. Tannins resolved. For me, it was my wine of the day, above some elegant burgs, new Californians and much else..." (Jul 2014)
Chateau Palmer Tasting note by Enrico Bernardo "Garnet-red colour with some bricking. Bouquet reminiscent of an old humid cellar, cigar box, game birds, blackberry jam, and ceps. Candied cherry notes appear with aeration. Soft with round tannin on the palate. Delicious, complex, and generous aftertaste." (Dec 2011)
