  • A one-star domaine as rated by Clive Coates, MW
  • Founded in 1850, the domaine is now run by the 5th generation - Philippe and Christine Drouhin
  • Owning some of the best grand crus that any winemaker would dream for, this domaine continues to produce excellent wines at great value for customers
  • 80% of the juice for this 2007 Chambolle Musigny comes from a premier cru lying next to Bonnes Mares, explaining why this is so delicious

Burghound: 89-92
"Sweet spot Outstanding! Here the nose displays more wood influence than any of the preceding wines though while certainly noticeable, it's not enough to hide the otherwise complex, ultra elegant and high-toned red pinot fruit aromas that introduce rich, full and mineral suffused medium-bodied and sleekly muscled flavors that possess very firm structure and excellent length on the moderately austere finish. This resembles a smaller-scaled Bonnes Mares, which is not as improbable as it sounds given where the majority of the blend hails from." (Jan 2009)
