"Outstanding! This is more elegant than the Chassagne villages with more floral influence in the form of acacia blossom that combines with pretty pear and peach aromas. There is good detail and mid-palate concentration to the middle weight flavors, all wrapped in a well-balanced, linear and impressively persistent finish. Sauzet always seems to do well with this wine and has done so again in 2010. Recommended." (Jun 2012)

"Pale, bright green-yellow. Musky peach, spices and truffle on the nose. Vivacious and energetic on the palate, with racy acidity framing the mineral and spice flavors. Finishes taut and long. Like a denser, more concentrated version of the 2008 village wine but in need of two or three years of patience to expand in the bottle." (Sep 2012)

"The Sauzet 2010 Puligny-Montrachet is totally classy and refined. There is a bit of a honeyed quality that gives the Puligny considerable textural richness and viscosity for a village level wine. A soft, seamless finish rounds things out in style. This is a gorgeous showing from Sauzet." (Aug 2012)
