"There is a discreetly hint of exoticism to the ripe white flower and green apple fruit nose that is nuanced by hints of anise, clove and wet stone where the latter element is also reflected on the intensely soil-driven flavors brimming with both salinity and minerality on the explosive and strikingly long finish. This is a classic Corton-Charlemagne that is close to peaking but for my taste I would allow another 2 to 4 years of cellar time first. In sum, this is really very impressive." (Nov 2012)
