"Tasted blind, this wine had a medium red center with light red rims. The medium+ intensity nose offered up cherries, rhubarb, and brown spices. In the mouth, this came across as very Burgundian. It was medium bodied with light rounded tannins and good acidity. While it did not come across as wildly complex, it was no light weight either. This was a very nice wine. I would suggest decanting for at least 6 hours and see what happens. It should be an excellent value as well." (Aug 2013)
