  • A two-star domaine as rated by Clive Coates, MW

  • Jean-Nicholas Meo took over the domaine in 1988, having been the apprentice alongside Henri Jayer for years
  • 2010 is regarded as one of the best vintage in Burgundy history, providing much confidence of the quality of this entry-level wine, plus only at a fraction of the village or cru wines

Producer note:
"Our vintage red Burgundy wine is made from our own parcels in Vosne-Romanee and Flagey, with plots composed mostly of old vines, thus producing wine with concentration. They are vinified with care, without insisting on the extraction, following the same principles applied to other vineyards of the domaine. At times, the wine is supplemented with grapes or wines purchased from others growers in Côte de Nuits: Marsannay, Fixin, Morey or Nuits-St-Georges. Given its sources from these prestigious villages, the wine shares the similar characteristics of freshness, structure, and power. While this wine can be enjoyed young due to its acidity, it's best to leave this in cellar for 2 years."
